THE BASICS
Kent State scored twice in the second half to upend Saint Louis 2-0 Sunday in nonconference field hockey action at Sportport International.

The Billikens dip to 3-6, while the Golden Flashes move to 4-7.
Saint Louis managed nine shots and drew four penalty corners, but were unable to get one past the Kent State goalie.

Both of the Golden Flashes goals game in the second half.

The Billikens resume Atlantic 10 Conference play on Friday, Sept. 29, when it travels to Loretto, Pennsylvania, to take on Saint Frances in an 11 a.m. (CT) tilt. The Billikens are back at Sportport the following Sunday (Oct. 1) to face Indiana at Noon.
