ST. LOUIS -- The United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America) announced this week that the Saint Louis University women’s soccer team earned the organization’s Team Academic Award for 2016-17.

The United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award is presented to college soccer programs that achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for an entire academic year. The Billikens posted a 3.445 GPA in 2016-17 to garner the award for a sixth consecutive year and 12th time overall.

Saint Louis boasted 26 selections (2016 fall and 2017 spring semesters combined) to the Atlantic 10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Student-athletes who record a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher are included on the Honor Roll.
