-- Saint Louis continues a three-game road swing tonight when it takes on VCU in Atlantic 10 Conference men’s soccer action. Game time is 6 p.m. (CT).

-- The Billikens lead the all-time series 4-1-1. Last season, the teams met at Hermann Stadium in a nonconference match and played to a 1-1 draw. Constantin Heider scored for the Billikens.

-- Tonight’s match has big RPI implications. VCU is currently the A-10 leader in NCAA RPI, checking in at No. 18. The Billikens’ RPI is 60th in the country.

-- Saint Louis enters tonight’s match 3-5-1 overall and 1-1 in A-10 play.

-- SLU is coming off its bye weekend and was last in action last Wednesday, a 3-0 win at Duquesne.

-- Keaton Schieffer, Lennart Hein and Duncan Corbett scored the Billikens’ goals against the Dukes. The SLU defense held Duquesne to just eight shots (only two on frame).

-- Hein leads the team with 10 points on a team-high five goals (tied for sixth in the A-10). Leo Novaes follows with four points (1G, 2A), while Corbett, Jacob Krupp and Spencer Jones have a goal and assist apiece for three points.

-- Sascha Otte is tied for third in the A-10 with four shutouts. He has 24 clean sheets in his career, which is tied for second nationally among active NCAA Division I goalkeepers.

-- Head coach Mike McGinty is in his eighth season at Saint Louis. The reigning A-10 Coach of the Year has a 77-52-14 record at SLU.

-- Up next, Saint Louis travels to Fairfax, Virginia, to face the George Mason Patriots  (5-4-2, 0-2-1 A-10) on Saturday, Oct. 14. Game time is 6 p.m. (CT).

-- VCU has won four in a row, including its first two conference games against Davidson (W, 4-1) and at Fordham (W, 1-0).

-- Luc Fatton leads the team in points (10 and goals (five). Rafael Santos has nine points (3G, 3A).

-- Mario Sequeria is one of three goalkeepers who has seen playing time for the Rams. He leads the group in minutes played (596), wins (five) and shutouts (three).

-- Last season, VCU finished 8-9-4 overall and 6-3-2 in the league. The Rams advanced to the A-10 Championship final, where it fell in PKs to Fordham following a scoreless draw.
