ST. LOUIS -- Saint Louis freshman midfielder Olivia Petit is one of 24 players called up by head coach Keri Sarver for a U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team training camp being held Feb. 10-17 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Petit is age-eligible for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France this August should she earn a future call-up by U-20 head coach Jitka Klimkova.

This is Petit’s fourth USWNT training call-up. She participated in a U-20 camp in November, a U-19 camp last spring and a U-18 camp in September 2016.

Petit enjoyed an outstanding first season with the Billikens, earning Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year accolades and a spot on the All-Conference first team. She led SLU with eight goals and 20 points, tying for fourth place on the Billikens’ all-time season lists for freshmen in both categories. Petit was fifth in points per game (1.00) and eighth in goals per game (0.40) in the A-10.

Petit tallied game-winning goals vs. Vanderbilt and Saint Joseph’s, and she recorded four of her eight goals and three of her four assists vs. conference opponents. She garnered an A-10 Offensive Player of the Week award and twice picked up A-10 Rookie of the Week accolades.
