ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis men's soccer opens its spring exhibition schedule on Saturday when it hosts Northern Illinois at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Game time is set for 4 p.m., and admissions is free.

It will be the competition debut for head coach Kevin Kalish, who was hired at SLU in January. Kalish and the Billikens have been participating in off-season workouts since his hire.

The Billikens went 7-9-1 overall and 4-4 in the Atlantic 10 Conference last season. Lennart Hein, a first-team All-Conference selection a year ago, returns as the Billikens' leading scorer after registering five goals in 2017. Leo Novaes scored two goals and added a team-high five assists for Saint Louis.

Northern Illinois went 3-11-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the Mid-American Conference last season.

Saturday's match is the first of five spring tilts for the Billikens. The full spring schedule is below.
