SAINT LOUIS – In honor of a week where he did nearly everything at the plate, Nick Reeser was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for his incredible performances over the course of four games last week.
Reeser put together a week to remember where he hit .571 and slugged .857 in weekday game against Bradley and the weekend series at Dayton. The Billiken first baseman recorded a career-high seven RBI against the Flyers on Saturday, which was one shy of the All-Time record for RBI in a game at Saint Louis.
On the whole, Reeser recorded nine RBI during the week, eight hits, a double and a grand slam. As he struck-out just twice. The grand slam also drove-in the winning run in the third inning on Saturday as the Billikens went on to win 17-4.
With the honor, Reeser became the fourth Billiken to receive weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 in 2018, joining Parker Sniatynski, Jackson Wark and Miller Hogan.
