ST. LOUIS -- Saint Louis University sophomore Cassie McKenzie has been selected to the Atlantic 10 women’s tennis All-Conference first team by a vote of the league’s head coaches.

McKenzie split time between No. 1 and No. 2 singles this season, settling in at the No. 1 position for 12 of the Billikens’ final 15 matches. She posted a 17-12 overall singles record, and her 9-10 record in dual competition included a 4-0 mark vs. A-10 opponents. McKenzie was 6-1 in matches that went to a third set or super-tiebreaker.

McKenzie captured the Flight A singles title at the SIUE Fall Invitational and won three matches at the ITA Central Regional. She added eight doubles victories and claimed the SIUE Fall Invitational Flight A doubles crown with sister Ally McKenzie.

With McKenzie’s selection, Saint Louis women’s tennis has placed a student-athlete on the A-10 All-Conference first team in 11 consecutive seasons.
