-- Saint Louis enters tonight’s match 1-1-2. The Billikens are coming off a hard-fought 1-1 draw against SMU on Saturday night. Ben Huels scored for the Billikens.
-- Anthony Brown leads the Billikens in scoring with seven points (3G, 1A), already a career high in points and goals for the senior. He scored in each of the Billikens’ first three games.
-- Ben Huels was an honorable mention Team of the Week selection after recording a goal (vs. SMU) and two assists (vs. Marquette) last week. Leo Novaes and Eric Davies have also scored for the Billikens.

-- Kevin Kalish, a Saint Louis University alumnus and Billiken All-American, was announced as the Billikens’ head coach in January 2018.
-- The seventh head coach in the storied history of the SLU men’s soccer program, Kalish previously served as Vice President and Missouri Boys Club Director for St. Louis Scott Gallagher. He also was head coach at SIU Edwardsville for six seasons (2008-13).
-- Kalish was a member of Saint Louis University’s 1997 NCAA semifinal team and was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and an NSCAA All-American his senior season in 1998. He earned Academic All-America honors in 1997 and 1998.
-- In 2007, Kalish was inducted into the Billiken Hall of Fame. He was named to the Billiken Half-Century Team in 2009 during the celebration of 50 years of Saint Louis University soccer.
-- Kalish is 1-1-2 in his first year at SLU, and 50-47-14 in seven seasons overall as a collegiate head coach.

-- One of the most storied rivalries in NCAA soccer will be renewed this season when Saint Louis University and SIUE meet on Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
-- The teams will be playing for the Joseph Carenza Sr. Perpetual Trophy, also known as the Bronze Boot. Beginning in 1971 and played almost annually through 1998, the Bronze Boot matchups between the Billikens and Cougars set NCAA attendance records and featured some of the most exciting soccer games in NCAA history.
