-- Saint Louis welcomes La Salle to Sportport International for an Atlantic 10 Conference field hockey match on Friday. Game time is 3 p.m.
ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
-- The Billikens are 2-7 overall and 0-4 in A-10 play. Saint Louis began the season winning two of three matches at the Colgate Classic but have dropped its last six.
-- SLU is coming off a pair of one-goal losses against Saint Francis and Davidson. Five of the Billikens' seven losses this season have been one-goal defeats.
-- A pair of freshman, Lili Wareham and Emily Wastell, lead the Billikens in scoring with three goals apiece.
-- Senior Carly Kissinger is tied with Wareham and Wastell for the team lead in points with six. Kissinger has a goal and a team-leading four assists.
-- Wastell was named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Sept. 4 after scoring twice against Colgate (including the game winner) and again versus Ohio.
-- Junior Erica Bondoc, sophomore Mimi Leonard and freshman Ashlee Kothenbeutel have also scored for the Billikens.
-- Freshman Sasha Sander has played every minute in the cage. She has made 39 saves and has a 2.22 goals against average.
ABOUT LA SALLE
-- The Explorers are 4-5 overall and 0-2 in A-10 play.
-- La Salle is coming off a 3-2 win over Vermont. In its first two A-10 matches, the Explorers lost 4-0 at Saint Francis and 4-1 at home against UMass.
-- Logan Oh leads La Salle with four goals and four assists.
-- Last season, the Explorers defeated the Billikens 2-0 in Philadelphia.
