ST. LOUIS – The defending Atlantic 10 Conference champion Saint Louis Billikens will play two exhibition games beginning Wednesday, Oct. 3, when the Billikens travel to SIUE to face the Cougars at 5 p.m.

After the matchup against SIUE, Saint Louis travels to Mizzou to face the Tigers in Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 13. That game begins at 1 p.m.

This is the first season that NCAA baseball programs can play fall exhibition games against other NCAA Division I opponents that do not count against the 56-game spring schedule.

The Billikens went 38-20 overall last season and captured A-10 regular-season and tournament titles. SLU returns six position players and seven pitchers from last year's team, including leading hitter Jake Garella (.352 batting average) and two weekend starters in Drew Reveno (10-2, 2.13 ERA) and Jackson Wark (9-2, 3.80 ERA).

Saint Louis' full 2019 schedule will be released soon.
