PEORIA, Ill. – On a cold and snowy Friday afternoon, Saint Louis' cross country teams took part in the annual Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill.

Despite the cold temperatures and frozen precipitation, several Billikens posted good marks. On the men's side, Manuel de Backer led the team with a 10th-place finish, crossing the 8K line in 24:45.8. Matt Prest also finished in the top 30 with a 25th-place showing with a time of 25:13.5.

The women's team was led by Megan Kress, who finished the 6K in a time of 21:44.7. Courtney Link was the next SLU finisher, crossing 55th with a time of 21:52.1. The women's team placed 12th.

The meet was the final regular-season competition for the Billikens, who now set their sights on the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships, which take place Saturday, Oct. 27, at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
