SETTING THE SCENE
-- Saint Louis is the No. 6 seed for the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship and will face third-seeded George Mason on Sunday in a 1 p.m. (CT) kickoff in Fairfax, Virginia.
-- The winner of the Billikens/Patriots matchup advances to the A-10 semifinal round, which takes place Friday, Nov. 9, at SLU's Robert R. Hermann Stadium.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
-- Saint Louis completed the regular season 6-3-7 overall and 3-1-4. in league play. The Billikens were unbeaten in their last six conference matches (3-0-3).
-- The Billikens' seven draws are the most they have recorded in school history.
-- Freshman John Klein leads the Billikens and is tied for third in the A-10 with nine goals. The nine scores are the most by a Billiken freshman since Vedad Ibisevic registered 18 tallies in 2003.
-- Junior Leo Novaes is second on the team with 15 points on five goals and a team-best five assists.
-- Junior Devin Boyce and senior Anthony Brown are tied with 12 points apiece (4G, 4A).
-- Freshman goalkeeper Seth Stiebel has started the last six games for SLU. He sports a 0.92 goals against average and has three shutouts.
-- The Billikens own a 250-123 shot advantage over the course of the year. Saint Louis has a 87-46 advantage in corner kicks as well.

BILLIKENS TO HOST A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP
-- Saint Louis University and Robert R. Hermann Stadium will serve as the host of the 2018 Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s Soccer Championship semifinals and final.
-- The A-10 semifinals take place Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The A-10 final will be played Sunday, Nov. 11, at noon. All games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

KALISH IN FIRST YEAR AS BILLIKENS’ HEAD COACH
-- Kevin Kalish, a Saint Louis University alumnus and Billiken All-American, was announced as the Billikens’ head coach in January 2018.
-- The seventh head coach in the storied history of the SLU men’s soccer program, Kalish previously served as Vice President and Missouri Boys Club Director for St. Louis Scott Gallagher. He also was head coach at SIU Edwardsville for six seasons (2008-13).
-- Kalish was a member of Saint Louis University’s 1997 NCAA semifinal team and was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and an NSCAA All-American his senior season in 1998. He earned Academic All-America honors in 1997 and 1998.
-- In 2007, Kalish was inducted into the Billiken Hall of Fame. He was named to the Billiken Half-Century Team in 2009 during the celebration of 50 years of Saint Louis University soccer.
-- Kalish is 6-3-7 in his first year at SLU, and 55-49-19 in seven seasons overall as a collegiate head coach.

SCOUTING GEORGE MASON
-- The Patriots have won three out of their last four and enter the A-10 Championship with a 7-7 overall record. George Mason posted a 5-3 mark in league play.
-- Tunde Akinlosotu leads George Mason in scoring with 14 points on a team-best five goals and four assists.
-- Ryan Mingachos follows with 12 points (4G, 4A), while Colin Brezniak (11 points) and Grant Robinson (10 points) also contribute to the Patriots' attack.
-- Clark Gronek has seen the majority time in goal. He has a 7-5 record and five shutouts.
-- Head coach Greg Andrulis is in his 14th season at George Mason.
