ST. LOUIS – For a second consecutive week and third time this season, Saint Louis University freshman guard Ciaja Harbison has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference women’s basketball Rookie of the Week.


Harbison averaged 17.5 points in SLU’s wins over Southern Illinois and SIUE last week. She shot 54 percent (14-of-26) from the field overall, 67 percent (2-of-3) from 3-point distance and 83 percent (5-of-6) from the foul line. Harbison added six assists, six rebounds and two steals.


Harbison tied for game-high scoring honors with a career-high 22 points vs. Southern Illinois. She tallied 13 points against SIUE.


Harbison is tied for sixth in assists (4.0 apg), ninth in scoring (13.6 ppg), 10th in free throw percentage (.816) and tied for 13th in steals (1.5 spg) in the A-10 rankings. She also collects 3.8 rebounds per game.


The Billikens play twice at home this week, hosting No. 1 Connecticut Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. and Missouri Sunday, Dec. 9, at 5 p.m.
