ST. LOUIS – Two Billikens were honored in the initial indoor track and field Atlantic 10 Conference weekly awards, the league announced.

Ethan Erusha was tabbed the men's A-10 Field Performer of the Week, while Katie Wissing was the women's A-10 Field co-Performer of the Week. The honors came after a successful season opener on Dec. 1 at the Titan First Chance meet at Illinois Wesleyan.

Erusha bettered his own school record in the triple jump at the meet, finishing first with a mark of 14.18 meters. He also competed in the high jump, placing tied for fourth with a leap of 1.88 meters.

Wissing won the long jump at the Titan First Chance with a mark of 5.70 meters. She also turned in a second-place finish in the triple jump (11.50 meters) and ran a leg on the Bills' 4x400-meter relay squad that placed second (3:59.34).

SLU is back in action this weekend in two different meets – the Saluki Fast Start at Southern Illinois University and the Hoosier Open at Indiana University.
