ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis senior guard Tramaine Isabell Jr. was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball co-Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Isabell averaged a double-double in the Billikens' two games last week, turning in 30 ppg and 10 rpg. Against Duquesne on March 6, he scored a SLU Chaifetz Arena record 39 points and brought down eight rebounds. In the Billikens' next game at St. Bonaventure March 9, Isabell scored 21 points and posted a season-high 12 rebounds.

For the week, Isabell shot 46.3 percent from the field and 60 percent from the arc.

Isabell is second on the Billikens this season in scoring average (13.3 ppg) and assists (102). Over Saint Louis' last six games, he is averaging a team-best 23.2 ppg.

This is Isabell's first A-10 weekly honor and the Billikens' third of the year. Senior guard Javon Bess is a two-time A-10 Player of the Week honoree.

Saint Louis is the No. 6 seed in this week's A-10 Men's Basketball Championship at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Billikens begin play in the tourney on Thursday night, when they face the winner of Wednesday's matchup between #11 Richmond and #14 Fordham.
