ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis head women’s basketball coach Lisa Stone has announced the addition of 5-foot-6 guard Hannah Dossett (Warsaw, Ky./Gallatin County H.S.) to the Billikens’ 2019-20 roster. Dossett is a graduate transfer from Syracuse University, where she was a four-year member of the softball team. She has one year of basketball eligibility remaining.
“It is our pleasure to welcome Hannah Dossett to our Billiken family,” Stone said. “Hannah was an outstanding athlete in high school who chose softball over basketball for an opportunity to play at Syracuse. She is a great shooter with deep range and a quick release. We look forward to her helping our team as we aim for an Atlantic 10 Conference championship.”
Dossett tallied 2,209 points, 291 3-pointers, 789 rebounds, 252 assists and 111 blocks during her high school career. She averaged 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists as a senior and was a Miss Kentucky Basketball finalist, Kentucky 8th Region Female Athlete of the Year and Basketball Player of the Year, and a third-team All-State selection.
