NEWPORT NEWS, Va.The Atlantic 10 Conference has released its women’s basketball home and away match-ups for the 2019-20 season. Once again the A-10 will feature a 16-game slate, with each of the league’s 14 teams playing eight home games and eight road contests.

 

Saint Louis plays at home and on the road against conference foes Dayton, Fordham and VCU. Davidson, Duquesne, Massachusetts, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph’s visit Chaifetz Arena, while SLU travels to George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Rhode Island and Richmond.

 

The Billikens play a home game against each of the four A-10 teams that appeared in the postseason a year ago. Fordham played in the NCAA Championship, Dayton and VCU were selected for the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, and Davidson participated in the Women’s Basketball Invitational.

 

Six players return from SLU’s 2018-19 team. The group is led by sophomore guard Ciaja Harbison, the A-10 Rookie of the Year and a second-team All-Conference pick, and sophomore forward/center Brooke Flowers, who joined Harbison on the league’s All-Rookie team and added A-10 All-Defensive honors.
