ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's Preseason Poll, which was released Tuesday by the United Soccer Coaches organization.

Saint Louis came in with four votes to be listed in the "also receiving votes" category. The poll can be found here. The Billikens are coming off a 6-4-7 season and return their top three scorers in John Klein (9G, 1A), Leo Novaes (5G, 5A) and Devin Boyce (4G, 4A). 

Additionally, the Billikens welcome 14 newcomers into the fold, a recruiting class that has drawn national praise and features several rookies who figure to make an impact in 2019.

The Billikens report for preseason training on Aug. 14, with their first practice slated for Aug. 15.  

SLU's season opener is set for Saturday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. at Hermann Stadium against ninth-ranked Notre Dame. Other SLU opponents ranked in the top 25 include No. 12 Virginia (Tuesday, Oct. 22) and No. 18 Denver (Tuesday, Oct. 15).
