RECAP
Saint Louis freshman midfielder Kipp Keller scored with 10 seconds remaining in double overtime to lift Saint Louis to a thrilling 2-1 victory over SIU Edwardsville on Friday night at SIUE's Korte Stadium.

Senior midfielder Leo Novaes had a goal and an assist in leading Saint Louis (1-2) it its first victory of the year. SIUE falls to 1-2-1.

The Billikens retain the Bronze Boot trophy and improve their record to 22-5-2 all-time in Bronze Boot affairs.

Both teams scored in the first half, with the Billikens striking first in the 11th minute when Novaes headed home a Devin Boyce service. SIUE equalized in the 27th minute, and the teams carried the 1-1 tie through the second half and the majority of the 20-minute overtime before Keller ended it at the 109:50 mark.

More than 3,000 fans were on hand for the first Bronze Boot game played in Edwardsville in more than 20 years. 

Saint Louis is back in action on Tuesday night when it hosts Tulsa at Hermann Stadium in a 7 p.m. first kick.
