A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS

• Saint Louis begins its second weekend of Atlantic 10 play by welcoming the Fordham Rams on Friday and the Rhode Island Rams on Sunday. The Billikens are 20-1 all-time against Fordham and hold a 20-5 record over Rhode Island.

• SLU enters the weekend with a 6-8 record, 0-1 in the conference.

• Entering Friday’s match, the Billikens are 5-3 in Chaifetz Pavilion.

• In the Dayton match, junior S Kennedy Cordia became just the ninth Billiken to reach the 2,000-assist milestone in her career. She is ninth all-time with 2,010 (79 behind eighth place). Cordia also leads the Bills with 24 service aces (0.47 per set).

• Junior OH Maya Taylor leads the team with 177 kills (4.21 per set). She has been named to three All-Tournament teams this season, while also collecting two Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week awards. Taylor has 927 kills in her career, 73 away from the 1,000-kill milestone.

• Senior OH Sien Gallop leads the team with 167 digs (3.34 per set), while also ranking second in kills with 143 (2.86 per set).

• Sophomore MB Sara Daniels records 1.12 blocks per set for the Billikens, while senior MB Lauren Mershon collects 0.80. Together they have combined for 98 blocks on the season.

A LOOK AT THE OPPONENTS

• Fordham began Atlantic 10 play with a five-set loss at Rhode Island last Saturday, bringing its record to 7-6 overall and 0-1 in conference play. Senior libero Morgan Williams has collected 40+ digs in two matches, totaling 326 on the season.

• Rhode Island improved to 6-7 (1-0 in conference play) with its win over Fordham. Junior S Annie Ell leads the Rams with 485 assists in 2019, while also collecting 91 digs and 13 service aces.
