OMAHA, Neb. - Saint Louis sophomore Raymond Lee scored a pair of goals, and the Billikens got an insurance tally from sophomore Robbie Kristo in a 3-1 victory against No. 7 Creighton Saturday night at Morrison Stadium in Omaha, Neb.

It was the second straight victory for the Billikens (5-2) and their second win this season against a ranked opponent, having previously knocked off No. 18 Louisville at Hermann Stadium.

Lee, who has missed time this season due to injury, came off the bench tonight and made an immediate impact, scoring late in the first half and early in the second to give the Billikens a 2-0 advantage. His first goal came in the 39th minute off a corner kick started by Alex Sweetin. Kristo assisted on Lee's second goal in the 49th minute when Lee buried a rebound off Kristo's shot.

The Blue Jays (5-2-1) got one back with a goal in the 62nd minute, but Kristo put the game out of reach with an insurance marker in the 83rd minute.

SLU junior keeper Nick Shackelford was sharp in goal, posting eight saves on the night including six in the opening half to keep the CU off the board. SLU out-shot Creighton 17-16 overall and had an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.

SLU returns to action Saturday, Sept. 29, when Central Arkansas comes to town for Homecoming at 7:30 p.m.. The traditional fireworks display will take place at halftime.

Prior to the match, America SCORES will participate in a nationwide attempt to break the Guiness World Record for number of people dribbling a soccer ball. For more information, visit www.americascores.org/soccerdribble.
