Saint Louis fell short of sweeping Rhode Island on Sunday afternoon, dropping the series finale 7-4. The Billikens moved to 21-25 on the year, 9-9 in conference play. The Rams improved to 10-8 in the A-10.

Jake Garella smacked his second home run of the series on Sunday, finishing the game 2-5. He batted .429 over the weekend, including two home runs, two doubles, seven RBIs and four runs scored.

DH Ben Livorsi hit his team-leading sixth homer of the year, and he wrapped up the afternoon 1-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

With two hits on Sunday, Braxton Stowe hit .500 against the Rams in the series, including one home run, one double, seven RBIs and two runs scored. 

Corrigan Bartlett went 3-5, putting him at a .538 batting average for the weekend. He doubled twice and scored two runs in the three games against the Rams.

Grant Fremion and Charlie Sheehan each pitched three innings of relief on Sunday. Fremion allowed one run on three hits and struck out three. Sheehan surrendered one run on two hits and struck out four.
