Saint Louis (24-26) dropped their midweek contest 19-8 to Southern Illinois on Tuesday night. The Billikens rallied back from a six run deficit in the fifth, tallying five runs in the top half of the inning, but an 11-run seventh inning by the Salukis put the game out of reach.

Jake Garella added to his recently attained school record, smacking double No. 25 on the season. He finished the night 2-4 with an RBI.

Freshman Cam Redding also had a multi-hit game, wrapping up the night 2-5 with an RBI and one run scored.

Kevin Jordan drove in two runs, going 1-3 with two RBIs and one run scored.

Charlie Sheehan tossed 2.0 scoreless innings of relief, surrendering two hits and striking out two.

The Billikens will head to Richmond this weekend for their final regular season series of the year. The three-game set begins Thursday afternoon.
