Under head coach Darin Hendrickson, the Billikens have made two NCAA regional appearances and won four Atlantic 10 regular-season titles. Saint Louis has brought in multiple nationally ranked recruiting classes and has competed in the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament in each of the last seven seasons. There has been at least one Billiken drafted in the MLB first-year Player Draft in each of the last five seasons, headlined by James Norwood, a seventh-round pick of the Chicago Cubs in 2014.
