RICHMOND, Va. -- Saint Louis senior point guard Jackie Kemph was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship All-Tournament team for her performance in the Billikens’ three tournament games. Kemph earned the honor for a second consecutive year.


Kemph averaged 22.0 points, 4.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds in the A-10 Championship. She shot 51.4 percent (19-of-37) from the floor and 86.7 percent (26-of-30) from the free throw line.


Kemph began the tournament by scoring 21 points vs. Massachusetts, including 19 in the second half as Saint Louis overcame a 10-point halftime deficit. She had eight assists and no turnovers while playing all but one minute.


Kemph matched her career high of 28 points in SLU’s quarterfinal game vs. Duquesne, a performance that included her season highs for free throws made (13) and attempted (16). She scored 17 points vs. Saint Joseph’s in the semifinals. Each of Kemph’s scoring totals was a game high.
