THE BASICS

• Alyssa Seitzer and Courtney Reimer scored second-half goals just four minutes apart to lift Saint Louis to a 2-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Davidson Thursday night at Alumni Stadium.

• The shutout was the Billikens’ eighth of the season and the sixth solo clean sheet for Mary Niehaus, who made five saves.

• SLU improved to 10-1-1 overall and 2-1 in the A-10. Davidson fell to 2-10, 0-3.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES

• With its 10th victory, Saint Louis has posted a double-digit win total in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2007 and 2008 campaigns.

• Alyssa Seitzer’s goal was her fourth of the season and her team-high third game-winning tally of the season. Seitzer raised her season point total to 14, tying for the team lead.

• Brionna Halverson collected her third assist of the season.

• The Seitzer-Halverson collaboration gave Saint Louis its 21st different player combination for the Billikens’ 24 assisted goals.

• Courtney Reimer netted her first marker in a Saint Louis uniform and became the 11th different Billiken to score a goal this season.

Mary Niehaus notched her 15th career shutout.

• SLU out-shot Davidson 12-8 overall and 7-5 in shots on goal. The Billikens earned a 7-4 edge in corner kicks, including 4-1 in the second half.

• Ten different Billikens recorded at least one shot. SLU’s seven shots on goal came from six different players.

• Mary Niehaus, Alli Klug and Molly Ream played all 90 minutes.
