A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS
• Saint Louis opens the 2017 season with a pair of contests in Muncie, Indiana. The Bills play host Ball State on Friday and a neutral site game on Saturday against Ohio. 
• The Billikens return 78% of their scoring from last years team.
• SLU returns the top two scorers from last season: Molly Feid (5G, 5A) and Carly Kissinger (4G, 5A).
• In addition to the returners, the Billikens welcome several newcomers to the 2017 team.
• Both of the Saint Louis goalies are freshmen: Bailey Foreman and Lillian Cossetto.
• Saint Louis boasts five international students on the 2017 roster: Julia Bakker(Netherlands), Lillian Cossetto (Australia), Micaela Diaz (Argentina), Noor Kalf(Netherlands) and Fleur Maarse (Belgium)
• The Billikens are led by head coach Danielle Baumgardner, who enters her second season. She is assisted by former Northwestern standout Dominique Masters, who is in her first season as assistant coach. 

A LOOK AT THE CARDINALS
• Ball State is led by seniors Merinda Morley (2G, 1A), Carley Shannon (2G, 1A) and Abbey Main (2G, 3A).
• All-MAC performer Darbi Gullett (3G, 1A) is Ball State's leading returning scorer.
• Last season, the Cardinals finished 8-11 overall with a 3-3 ledger in the MAC.
• Ball State is led by head coach Christy Longacre, who is in her second season at the helm. 

A LOOK AT THE BOBCATS
• Ohio is led by first-team All-MAC performer Kendall Ballard (12G, 4A). Ballard also was an All-Region honoree and competed with the U-21 USA National Team.
• Also returning is senior Maria Russell (6G, 2A), who earned second-team All-MAC honors. 
• The 2016 Bobcats finished the year 6-11.
• Ohio has been picked fourth in the MAC preseason poll.
• Neil Macmillian is the head coach of the Bobcats. He has a 122-102 record at Ohio in 11 seasons.
