Saint Louis field hockey was defeated by conference foe La Salle 0-2 in Philadelphia. The loss drops SLU to 3-4 overall this season.

• Freshman Julia Bakker led the Billikens with four shots (all on goal).
Carly Kissinger and Katie Moss both contributed three shots.
Lillian Cossetto played all 70 minutes in cage, tallying one save.
• The Billikens peppered the La Salle keeper with 11 shots in the second half.
• Saint Louis out-shout the Explorers 15-8 in the contest. 
• The Bills were very aggressive in the second half, forcing eight penalty corners in the half. La Salle had seven corners in the entire game (SLU finished with 10).

Saint Louis hosts Richmond on Friday and Kent State on Sunday. Both contests will be played at Sportport International in Maryland Heights, Mo.
