A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS
-- Saint Louis (4-9, 0-6 A-10) heads to North Carolina for a pair of matches. SLU plays a nonconference tilt against Appalachian State Thursday at 6 p.m. before resuming Atlantic 10 Conference play Saturday at 10:30 a.m. against Davidson.
-- The Billikens are coming off a hard-fought 3-2 loss against No. 24 Massachusetts last week. Saint Louis tallied twice off penalty corners in the second half and pressured until the final whistle.
-- Carly Kissinger leads the team in goals (5), assists (4), points (14) and shots (44).
-- Katie Moss has scored three times, while Julia Bakker and Erica Bondoc have tallied twice for the Billikens.
-- In the cage, Lillian Cossetto has logged 875 minutes and has recorded 52 saves. She has a pair of shutouts to her credit.
-- SLU's win against Indiana on Oct. 1 was arguably the biggest win in recent program history. The Billikens scored three times in the first half and held off the Hoosiers down the stretch to post the win. 
-- The Billikens’ three-game winning streak earlier this season is the longest since Saint Louis won three in a row in 2004.
-- Bondoc scored twice in a narrow 3-2 A-10 defeat against Richmond on Sept. 22. It marked the first time a Billiken has scored two or more goals in a conference game since Mary Henry scored twice against La Salle in 2006.
-- The Billikens’ five-goal outbreak against LIU Brooklyn Aug. 30 marked the first time since 1992 that Saint Louis scored five or more goals against an NCAA Division I opponent.
-- Kissinger was named A-10 Player of the Week Sept. 5. The totaled two goals and two assists in SLU wins against LIU Brooklyn and Colgate.
-- Saint Louis boasts five international student-athletes on the 2017 roster: Julia Bakker (Netherlands), Lillian Cossetto (Australia), Micaela Diaz (Argentina), Noor Kalf (Netherlands) and Fleur Maarse (Belgium)

A LOOK AT THE MOUNTAINEERS
-- Appalachian State enters Thursday’s game 6-8 overall. It has won three of its last four matches.
-- Taylor Cimbalist leads App State with 26 points (10G, 6A). Ali Williams is second on the team with seven goals.
-- Rachel Gaines has played every minute in the cage. She has a 4.09 goals against average and three shutouts.

A LOOK AT THE WILDCATS
-- Davidson remains in search of its first win of the season and enters Saturday’s match against the Billikens 0-14 overall and 0-6 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
-- Hannah Fisher leads Davidson with five goals, while Anna Brewer has a team-high five assists.
