RECAP
Central Michigan scored in the 31st minute to defeat Saint Louis, 1-0, Sunday in nonconference field hockey action at Colgate's Tyler's Field.

Saint Louis dips to 1-1 with the defeat, while Central Michigan improves to 1-1.

The Billikens outshot the Chippewas 11-5 (4-2 on goal) and had a 5-4 advantage in penalty corners, but CMU goalie Lily Amadio came up with four saves to preserve the shutout.

Carly Kissinger led the Billikens with four total shots, one of which was on goal. Mica Diaz, Kayleigh Fleming and Grace Frisella and put a shot on frame.

The Billikens return to action tomorrow when they face Colgate at 11 a.m. The match will be broadcast live on the Patriot League Network.
