•Hoping to match the best start in program history, Saint Louis plays its first road game of the season when the Billikens battle the Arkansas State Red Wolves Sunday, Aug. 27, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
•Should the Billikens improve to 4-0, they would tie the 2000 and 2016 teams for Saint Louis women’s soccer’s best four-game start. 
•The Billikens equaled another program mark when they kept Illinois State off the scoreboard Friday night. SLU registered a shutout in each of its first three games, joining the 2003 Saint Louis squad as the only teams in program history to turn in three consecutive clean sheets to begin a season.
•The Billikens upped their record to 3-0 by defeating Illinois State 1-0 Friday night at Hermann Stadium. Click here for a game recap that includes photos and box score.
•The Billikens set a program record Friday night by collecting their 12th consecutive home victory (three this season, nine in 2016), breaking the previous mark of 11 established in 1999-2000. SLU’s home unbeaten streak is 13, five from tying the school record of 18 (2005-06). SLU has not lost at home since falling 2-1 to Saint Joseph’s Oct. 22, 2015.

•Evie Lavelle and Olivia Petit were named Atlantic 10 Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for their performances in wins over Miami (Ohio) and Vanderbilt last week. Click here for details.

•Arkansas State is the only Sun Belt Conference team the Billikens have played.
•Katie Shields owns a 39-33-7 record in her fifth season as head coach.

•Arkansas State returned nine starters and four additional letter winners from its 2016 team that finished 6-8-3 overall and 4-5-1 (seventh) in the Sun Belt Conference. The Red Wolves were picked to finish 10th in this season’s league race.
•ASU opened with a 2-1 victory at Missouri State before dropping a 1-0 overtime decision at Lipscomb.
•Junior goalkeeper Kelsey Ponder, who earned second-team All-Conference honors and finished 32nd in the nation in save percentage in 2016, was a preseason All-Conference selection.
•Junior midfielder Taylor Schneider was last year’s Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year after transferring from Illinois State.
