• Saint Louis begins its 13th season of Atlantic 10 Conference play when the Billikens host St. Bonaventure Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m.
• The Billikens are No. 24 in the first NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings. SLU is rated fifth highest among teams that play in non-Power 5 conferences.
• For a second consecutive week, Saint Louis received votes in the United Soccer Coaches national poll. The Billikens are ranked No. 10 in the East Region.
• SLU went undefeated in nonconference play for the first time in program history. The Billikens are one of only six undefeated NCAA Division I women’s soccer teams, joining Tennessee, Texas, Milwaukee, UCLA and Rutgers.
• The Billikens bring a 14-game Hermann Stadium unbeaten streak, dating to the final game of the 2015 season, into Thursday’s contest.
• The Billikens are 6-3-3 overall in A-10 openers; 4-1-1 when the A-10 opener is played at home; and 9-2-1 overall in A-10 home openers.
• Saint Louis leads the A-10 in points (6.78/game), goals (2.33/game), assists (2.11/game), shots (17.11/game), corner kicks (7.67/game), goals against average (0.43) and shutouts (six).
• In the league’s player rankings, Alyssa Seitzer (3G, 6A) leads in points (1.33/game) and assists (0.67/game), while Mary Niehaus is the A-10’s best in GAA (0.45) and shutouts (five).
• Through games of Sept. 17, the Billikens are No. 8 in the nation in corner kicks, No. 11 in GAA, No. 14 in shutout percentage (.667), and No. 16 in save percentage (.871) and shots on goal (8.67/game). SLU also is No. 24 in goals, No. 27 in points and No. 29 in shots.
• Mary Niehaus is 11th in shutouts, 17th in GAA and 27th in save percentage (.862) in the national rankings. Alyssa Seitzer is ranked 15th nationally in assists.
• In a balanced Saint Louis attack, nine different players have scored at least one goal; 12 different Billikens have at least one goal or one assist; and 16 different player combinations have accounted for SLU’s 18 assisted goals. Click here for SLU’s complete statistics.
• Alli Klug was named the A-10 co-Defensive Player of the Week Monday (read the story here) for her effort in wins at Evansville and Murray State. Klug is the seventh different Billiken to earn an A-10 weekly award this season. SLU has had at least one honoree every week and at least two players recognized in each category – Offensive, Defensive and Rookie.
• The win over Murray State was the 22nd of Mary Niehaus’ career, moving her into sole possession of third place on SLU’s all-time list.
• Katie Shields owns a 44-33-8 record in her fifth season as head coach.

• St. Bonaventure was 4-14-1 overall and 1-9 in the A-10 in 2016.
• Among the Bonnies’ returning players from last season is sophomore midfielder Sabrina Sousa-Sampson, who earned a spot on the A-10 All-Rookie team.
