• Saint Louis begins the second half of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Conference schedule Sunday, Oct. 8, against George Washington in Washington, D.C.
• The Billikens lead the A-10 in points (6.64/game), goals (2.36/game), total shots (17.71/game), shots on goal (8.93/game), corner kicks (8.07/game), goals against average (0.48) and shutouts (nine). SLU is second in assists (1.93/game) and save percentage (.863).
• Mary Niehaus stands atop the A-10 in GAA (0.51), ranks second in shutouts (seven) and is fourth in save percentage (.851).
• Alyssa Seitzer (4G, 6A) leads the conference in assists (0.43/game), ranks second in game-winning goals (three) and is sixth in points (1.00/game).
• Maddie Pokorny (6G, 2A) is second in the A-10 in shots (3.07/game), fourth in goals (0.43/game) and sixth in points (1.00/game).
• Olivia Petit is fourth in goals (0.43/game) and sixth in points (1.00/game) in the conference.
• Evie Lavelle ranks sixth in the A-10 in assists (0.36/game).
• In the national rankings, Saint Louis is fifth in corner kicks, seventh in shots on goal, 11th in winning percentage (.857), 14th in GAA, 15th in shutout percentage (.643), 19th in save percentage, 20th in total shots, 23rd in goals and 26th in points.
• Mary Niehaus is 11th in the nation in shutouts and 17th in GAA.

• After notching her 15th and 16th career shutouts last week, Mary Niehaus was selected A-10 co-Defensive Player of the Week (story here) and was named to the TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week.
• Seven different Billikens have combined to earn eight A-10 weekly awards this season. SLU has had at least one honoree in all but one week, and at least two players have been recognized in each category – Offensive, Defensive and Rookie.
• The Billikens are 25-5-4 since the beginning of the 2016 season.
• Katie Shields owns a 47-34-9 record in her fifth season as head coach.

• George Washington, which was picked to finish fourth in the A-10 by the league’s head coaches, has won four straight and nine of its last 10.
• The Colonials returned five starters and 10 additional players from their 2016 team that was 11-7-3 overall and 4-3-3 (sixth) in the A-10. Among the returnees are fifth-year senior goalkeeper Miranda Horn and junior midfielder/forward Sofia Pavon, both of whom were selected to the preseason All-Conference team.
• Horn, a second-team All-Conference choice in 2016, is 19th in the nation in shutouts (six). She carries a 1.03 GAA and an .809 save percentage.
• Pavon (7G, 2A) missed last season with an injury after earning A-10 Rookie of the Year plaudits in 2015. She leads the league in goals per game.
• Senior forward Brittany Cooper and freshman midfielder Alexis Williams have four goals apiece.
