Aug. 9, 2005 St. Louis - Saint Louis University director of athletics Cheryl L. Levick today announced that Margo Lubus has been promoted to director of annual giving and planned events. Lubus has served as The Billiken Club administrative assistant for the past nine years. "It is a pleasure to promote Margo to director of annual giving and planned events," Levick said. "This recognizes her hard work and dedication to the program during her tenure in Billiken athletics. In particular, Margo delivered in a critical time for us this past spring while managing our largest annual fundraiser, while we were also so heavily involved in the men's Final Four." Lubus' responsibilities include the day-to-day management of the The Billiken Club while also focusing on special event fundraising for the Arena project and sport-specific events. Lubus earned a bachelor's degree in education in 1976 from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. She has the distinction of being a member of the first women's intercollegiate basketball team at Rockhurst. |
