Larson Breaks Two School Records at Lindenwood Invitational

ST. PETERS, Mo. - Anna Larson eclipsed Saint Louis' standards in the one- and three-meter diving events at the Lindenwood Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo. The Billiken women defeated host Lindenwood 176-78, while the SLU men fell to the Lions 153-107. Larson eclipsed her own school record in the one-meter event with a first-place effort of 295.40. Her previous best was 291.80. She went on to break Erin Lasinski's three-meter record (302.85) with a first-place score of 305.95. The SLU men won both diving events as well. Chad Carmichael came in first in the one-meter event (302.40) with the fifth-highest score in school history. He also placed second in the three-meter competition (296.50) with the sixth-best score in Billiken annals. Billy Hrabovsky won the three-meter diving competition (316.50) with the second-highest score in school history. He finished second on the one-meter board (291.95) with the sixth-best performance at SLU. Katie Kolster and Laura Robertson were the only other Saint Louis competitors to pick up two individual first-place finishes. Kolster won the 50 (25.61) and 100 (54.63) free, while Robertson touched first in the 100 breast (1:09.44) and 500 free (5:24.31). Stephen Sheridan picked up first-place honors in the 100 free (47.85), while Jessica Schwarz won the 200 free (1:59.56). Allison Storm was the lone freshman to place first in an individual event, winning the 1000 free (11:13.92). The Billiken women's squad also won both relays - the 200 medley (1:54.76) and the 200 free (1:44.77).
