AUSTIN, Texas - After placing 17th on the three-meter board at her first NCAA Zone Diving Meet, Saint Louis freshman Anna Larson (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell) finished 20th on the one-meter board with a total score of 415.65 on day two of the Zone D Meet in Austin, Texas.

The rookie advanced to the finals after receiving 204.20 points in the prelims. Larson, who has only dove off the platform once this season, will wrap up the meet with the platform competition, which begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Five divers have qualified for the NCAA Championships based on their performances during the first two days of competition - Houston's Nastia Pzdniakova and Ginni van Katwijk and Texas trio Mary Yarrison, Kathryn Kelly and Jessica Livingston. Seven divers in all will advance out of the Zone D Meet, meaning two spots are still up for grabs. The top two finishers on the platform, who have not already qualified for the championships, will also move on to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
