ST. LOUIS - The Saint Louis men's and women's swimming and diving squads have been recognized as College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American teams after maintaining an average GPA over 3.0 for the Fall 2008 semester.

SLU was one of just 41 men's teams awarded All-American status. George Washington was the only other Atlantic 10 men's squad to capture All-American honors. The Billiken women's team was one of six A-10 squads to earn the distinction. During the fall semester, 13 individuals on the Billiken men's team finished with a 3.0 GPA or better, while 16 members of the women's squad met the standard.

Three Billikens were named to the A-10 All-Academic team during the 2008-09 season. Junior Anna Larson received the accolade for the second straight season, while sophomores Michael Dahle and Stephen Sheridan were honored for the first time.
