Track and field senior Mat Stuber (Reading, Pa. / Central Catholic) has been named to the Atlantic 10 Men's Track and Field Academic All-Conference team. Stuber is in the University's aviation science / professional pilot program.

"Mat is not only a great student-athlete, but also a strong leader for the team," Billiken track and field head coach Mike Nelson said. "He has been a driving force in our team's on-going development and improvement this season."

Stuber was a valuable runner for the Billikens and competed in events ranging from the 800 to the 5,000 as well as the 3,000 steeplechase. He finished 15th in the 3,000 steeplechase at the A-10 outdoor championship meet and was 19th in the 5,000. Stuber is the school record holder in the 3,000 steeplechase. In addition, Stuber was a two-time A-10 All-Academic selection in cross country.
