Lake Kristi, N.C. - Freshman Joe Porter blazed to the fourth fastest individual 8K time in Saint Louis University history at the Conference USA Championship Meet in Lake Kristi, N.C. Porter's time of 25:37.7 placed him 46th in the individual meet. Overall, the men's team finished 12th in the meet as seven runners recorded PR's.

Junior Brandon Middleton posted a career-best 25:58.8 which is the sixth-best time recorded by the Billiken runner. Freshman Pet Henchy recorded a 26:26.5 with fellow frosh Jimmy Holmes right behind with a 26:26.8. Senior Chris Dollenmeyer charted a 26:38.6 with freshman Pat O'Malley finishing in 26:45.1. Junior Mike McCaslin came home in 26:51.6 while junior Pete Mosher recorded a 28:07.9.
