STILLWATER, Okla. - Saint Louis closed out its 2008 cross country campaign today at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Oklahoma State University.

The women's team finished 20th overall and was led by freshman Adair Quisenberry's 6K time of 22:46.50. It marked the first time this season that Quisenberry led the Bills in a race. She finished 78th overall and placed in the top-15 among freshman at the regional.

Senior Mary Moloney finished 89th overall with a time of 22:53.15. The four remaining SLU competitors finished between 118th and 132nd in a field of 187 runners. They were Lauren Verzal (23:17.65), Sara Fraley (23:22.65), Molly Burke (23:26.15) and Laura Peabody (23:28.35). Freshman Hilary Orf, who raced in the top-two for the Bills for the majority of the season, was a late scratch due to injury.

Sophomore Brian Holdmeyer, the lone competitor on the men's squad, finished 108th overall with a 10K time of 33:52.85.

The cross country squad now sets their sights on the indoor track and field campaign, which begins in December.
