ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis University senior Pete Mosher (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) was named to the Verizon Academic All-District VII Men's Cross Country team today. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve, have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at the nominating institution. A first-team selection, Mosher will represent the district on the All-America ballot.

Mosher is physical therapy major who came off an injury to run in six meets this fall. He was among the team's top seven runners all year and recorded a season-best time of 29:00 at the Bradley Invitational. A Dean's List student every semester at SLU, Mosher earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for recording a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 and helped the men's cross country team win the C-USA Sport Academic Medal for having the highest team GPA in the conference last year.
