The Atlantic 10 Conference has named sophomore runner Mat Stuber (Reading, Pa. / Central Catholic) to the A-10 Men's Cross Country Academic All-Conference squad. Stuber is in the University's aviation science / professional pilot program.

"Mat has been an outstanding runner for us and an excellent student in the classroom," Billiken head coach Mike Nelson said. "He does everything in the manner befitting the ideals of Saint Louis University and the Jesuit tradition."

Stuber has finished in the top five for the team in all six meets this season, including second for the Billikens at the A-10 Championship meet. His top 8K time this year was a personal-best 26:58 at the A-10 meet. He helped the Billikens claim first place at the Cross Country-Only National Championship meet with a 10th place finish. Stuber helped the Billikens win the 2004-05 Conference USA Sport Academic Award for highest team GPA in the league, and he was awarded the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal.
