Second on the club with 11 starts on the mound ... also made three appearances out of the bullpen ... struck out 52 hitters while allowing just 11 walks ... went 5-4 with a 4.64 ERA ... went 6-2/3 innings in the win at Temple but did not figure into the decision ... also pitched into the seventh against Charlotte ... did not allow an earned run in 1-1/3 innings in the win against Illinois ... picked up a win in the second game of the UMass series after allowing one unearned run on nine hits while striking out six in eight innings ... struck out a career-high nine batters in the victory in the second game of the Richmond series ... scattered seven hits over eight innings and did not allow an earned run against the Spiders ... picked up the win in the Murray State finale after tossing 7-1/3 innings and allowing one run on eight hits while fanning six ... got the win in the Northern Illinois finale after allowing a run on five hits in seven inning of work ... was the tough-luck loser against Southeast Missouri State at GCS Ballpark after striking out a then-career high seven hitters and not allowing an earned run in 6-2/3 innings ... picked up his first career victory after coming out of the bullpen for three innings of scoreless relief against Eastern Illinois ... yielded just one hit against the Panthers ... started but not figure into the decision in SLU's victory against UC Santa Barbara.

Played two seasons for coach Steve Johnson's Grizzlies ... in 2007, registered a 3.60 ERA and a 7-2 record in helping the Grizzlies to a 37-13 record ... earned honorable mention All-Conference honors last season while striking out 36 batters and walking only seven ... was a preseason All-American pitcher his sophomore year.

Earned three letters for coach Scott Hodges' Eagles ... named a first-team All-Nebraska outfielder his senior year as well as first-team Super State ... two-time first-team All-Metro selection ... also played three years of basketball, including in 2006 when he helped the Eagles win a state championship.
