Saint Louis University basketball signees Cody Ellis and Christian Salecich helped Australia post a 69-62 victory over Spain on Friday, July 3, at the FIBA U-19 World Championships in New Zealand. The victory keeps the Emus atop Group C with a 2-0 record.

Ellis scored nine points and added six rebounds, including four on the offensive end, to keep Australia undefeated in Auckland. The forward tied for team high honors with 26 minutes of action. Salecich added three points and two assists for the Emus. The duo will lead Australia into the final game of Group C play on Saturday, July 4, against Syria.
