The Atlantic 10 Conference today announced the 2009-10 men's basketball league slate. The Billikens' 16-game A-10 schedule is highlighted by home-and-home contests against Dayton, Duquesne and Richmond. SLU has seven conference games slated for television broadcasts, including national telecasts on ESPNU (Dayton) and CBS College Sports (at Charlotte). The Billikens open conference play at Chaifetz Arena against Richmond, which played in the CBI Tournament last season, Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010. SLU takes to the road for two straight games at 2009 NIT participant Duquesne, Wednesday, Jan. 13, and at Charlotte, Sunday, Jan. 17. The game against the 49ers will be nationally broadcast on CBS College Sports. The Billikens return home to face Fordham Wednesday, Jan. 20. Another two-game road swing takes the Bills to George Washington Wednesday, Jan. 27, and Richmond Saturday, Jan. 30. The game against the Spiders will be broadcast on CBS College Sports Regional.

The Billikens welcome St. Bonaventure to town Wednesday, Feb. 3. SLU then has back-to-back games in Philadelphia, both of which air on CBS College Sports Regional. The Bills take on La Salle Saturday, Feb. 6, then head to refurbished Alumni Fieldhouse, now called Hagan Arena, to play Saint Joseph's Tuesday, Feb. 9. NCAA participant Dayton comes to Chaifetz Arena Saturday, Feb. 13, for a nationally televised game on ESPNU. Rhode Island, which qualified for the NIT last season, visits Wednesday, Feb. 17, in a CBS College Sports Regional game. The Billikens head to Massachusetts Sunday, Feb. 21, before beginning a three-game homestand. Defending regular-season champion Xavier makes an appearance on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and Duquesne comes to town on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The final regular-season home game is against defending A-10 Tournament champ Temple, Wednesday, March 3.
