Erin Wright joined the Saint Louis women's basketball staff in September 2006 as administrative assistant, aiding head coach Shimmy Gray-Miller with all facets of the program. Her daily responsibilities include managing the basketball office, assisting with game scheduling, coordinating team travel and overseeing basketball alumni operations. Wright also assists with the Little Dribblers Ball Kids program.

Wright was director of women's basketball operations from 2003 to 2005 at Ohio State University under head coach Jim Foster. She worked previously in the same capacity under Foster at Vanderbilt University for two seasons (2000-02) after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons.

Prior to joining the Ohio State staff, Wright spent two years working for Hines, Nicklaus and Sullivan Sports Group in Columbus, Ohio, where she organized, scheduled and managed corporate hospitality for the presenting sponsor of the PGA's Memorial Tournament. Additionally, she spent time as an assistant event manager for the Garrett Hospitality Group, which also is based in Columbus. She served as an event manager for the 2006 LPGA Wendy's Championship for Children in Columbus.

Wright also spent one season (1997-98) as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont and was a member of the coaching staff at American International (Mass.) College during the 1996-97 season before joining the Vanderbilt program.

Wright earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 1996 from Stonehill (Mass.) College, where she was a four-year member of the basketball team. She is a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame at Westwood (Mass.) High School, which she attended from 1988-92, and was inducted into the Stonehill College Athletics Hall of Fame this fall.

Wright resides in Kirkwood, Mo., with her husband, Mark, and daughter, Marin.
