MURRAY, Ky. - Saint Louis women's golf took eighth place in the 11-team field at the Murray State Big River Telephone Classic played at Miller Memorial Golf Course. Sophomore Jenny Madras led the way with matching 86s to claim 31st place.

Freshman Christa Cloutier was close at Madras' heels in 35th place. She opened the tournament with a team-best 82 then battled for a 91 on Tuesday. Caitlyn Cummings took 46th place with steady play, posting rounds of 89 and 88. Sophomore Kaela Burke completed the team scores for SLU, carding a 91 on Monday and a 104 on Tuesday to take 62nd place in the 70-golfer field. Senior Amber Dodman took 63rd behind rounds of 96 and 100.

Cincinnati claimed the tournament's team title, shooting 324 and 325. The Bearcats' Hillery Wilson was the individual medallist with rounds of 78 and 80.

Saint Louis is back in action on Mon., Mar. 13, at the North/South Intercollegiate in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
