Fitzgerald Leads Bills in C-USA Second Round

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. - Saint Louis women's golf wrapped up day two of the Conference USA Championship at Germantown Country Club behind Keely Fitzgerald's team-low 87. The Billikens remain in 10th place with one round remaining in the tournament.

Fitzgerald holds a share of 39th place after pairing her first-round 81 with today's 87. Freshman Jenny Madras opened the tournament with an 81, but fell to 47th place with a 96 in the second round. Kaela Burke lowered her first-round 96 to 94 on Tuesday for 48th place. Freshman Lainey Trahan shot 101 on Tuesday after a 100 on Monday to hold 49th position. Junior Amber Dodman rounded out the field in 50th place with her second-consecutive 113.

TCU leads the team title race by nine strokes over Tulane heading into Wednesday's final round. Tulane's Alison Walshe is two strokes ahead of TCU's Stacey Bieber in the individual medallist standings.
