Miya Sullivan joined the athletic training staff in the fall of 2000 after working for HealthSouth Medical.
Sullivan graduated from Tennessee State University in 1996 with a
degree in health, physical education and recreation (HPER) with a
concentration in athletic training. After graduation, she worked for
Columbia Sports Medicine Clinic in Nashville as a physical therapist
technician.
Sullivan served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Normal
Community West High School in Normal, Ill. She taught personal fitness and Nautilus conditioning as a graduate assistant at Illinois State and earned a master's degree in HPER with a concentration in athletic training from ISU in 2000. Prior to her stint at HealthSouth, Sullivan worked as a personal trainer for Bally Total Fitness in Clayton, Mo.
