Chad Zwierlein has been Saint Louis University’s Associate Director of Athletics for Business since June 2017. Zwierlein oversees all aspects of the athletics department’s business operations including financial reporting, budgeting, purchasing, travel, contract management, IT, and business policies and procedures.
Zwierlein came to SLU after working more than six years as Assistant Director of Business Operations in the athletics department at the University of North Carolina, where he oversaw financial reporting, prepared the department’s EADA and NCAA financial reports and assisted in the budgeting process. His professional experience in athletics began in June 2008 as Athletics Business Manager at the College of William & Mary.
Zwierlein is a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Bowling Green State University, where he served as a graduate assistant for the athletics director, in 2008.
Zwierlein has been a member of the College Athletic Business Management Association since 2010. He received the Rising Star Award in SLU’s Division of Student Development in 2019.
